1. Information We Collect

When you use ReelCall, we collect:

• Account information: email address, username you choose
• Usage data: videos you save, Q&A you ask, features you use
• Payment information: processed by Stripe — we never store card numbers
• Video content: transcripts and AI analyses of YouTube videos you save

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve the ReelCall service
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send account-related emails (no marketing without consent)
• Analyze usage patterns to improve the product

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on secure cloud infrastructure. Video transcripts and analyses are stored to enable fast retrieval and Q&A. We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. AI Processing

Video transcripts and your questions are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis and Q&A. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing. We do not use your content to train AI models.

5. Sharing Your Videos

When you share a video via a share link, the summary, key points, and Q&A for that video become publicly accessible to anyone with the link. You control sharing — videos are private by default.

6. Cookies

We use minimal cookies for authentication (keeping you signed in) and preference storage (dark/light mode). We do not use advertising cookies.

7. Data Retention

Your account and videos are retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days. Note: videos you have shared may remain in the system for others who have saved them.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Export your videos and Q&A history
• Delete your account and associated data
• Opt out of any marketing communications

9. Children's Privacy

ReelCall is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify users of significant changes via email or an in-app notice.
